Rooted is an independent UK web design studio. This notice explains how business contact information is used when discussing or providing Rooted services.

Information used

Rooted may record a business name, publicly published business email address, public profile or website URL, company number, contact status and relevant correspondence.

Why it is used

The information is used to assess whether Rooted's web design service is relevant, make limited business-to-business contact, answer enquiries, deliver agreed work and maintain a suppression record.

Sources and lawful basis

Details may come directly from you or from public business listings, social profiles, websites and Companies House. Where personal data is processed for limited corporate outreach, Rooted relies on legitimate interests. Rooted does not treat a publicly listed address as consent and does not cold email sole traders or ordinary partnerships without an applicable lawful route.

Retention and sharing

Prospect records are reviewed and removed when no longer relevant. Suppression records are retained so that opt-out requests are respected. Information is not sold. It is shared only with service providers needed to operate email, hosting and project delivery, or where required by law.

Your choices

You may ask Rooted to stop contacting you, correct information, or explain the information held. Reply to any message or email hello@rooted.cloud. Marketing opt-outs are applied without charge.
